Registrations taken for Port Youth Theatre
Registration for Port Youth Theatre, which will be presenting “Frozen” this year, opened Wednesday, Jan. 26.
The program gives students in grades one through 12 exposure to all elements of musical theater, including set construction, costuming, make-up and choreography that will culminate in a fantastic performance.
Participants must be registered prior to auditions and roles are cast from the registered participants.
A maximum of 30 elementary-school registrations will be accepted, 20 middle-school registrations and 20 high-school registrations.
Auditions will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 2 and 3.
Rehearsals will be on Mondays through Thursdays from March 7 to April 21, with performances held at 6 p.m. April 22 and 1 p.m. April 23.
The fee is $150 for Port Washington-Saukville School District students and $200 for students from outside the district.
The fee includes a student script and two vouchers to attend the performance.
