LETTER: Dems support ‘Right to Make Fraudulent Voting Legal Act’

To Ozaukee Press:

A recent letter to the editor published in Ozaukee Press argued that the Senate filibuster should be abolished. I disagree; the filibuster is a necessary part of the legislative process.

The Democrats have used it in the past, and then it was OK. But now when the Republicans use it, it is should be abolished. The filibuster is there to keep a bad bill from becoming law, and the Voting Rights Act is a bad bill. It should be named The Right to Make Fraudulent Voting Legal Act.

There are already numerous states that have passed laws that make it easier to vote but much harder to cheat, and the Democrats do not like that, so they want to pass a law that makes fraudulent voting legal.

The Democrats are also opposed to voter ID. They say that it would keep the poor from voting, and that is ridiculous. The poor can get an ID without charge, and you can hardly exist in today’s world without an ID, so what is wrong with having an ID to vote?
