Anne C. Luedke

Anne C. Luedke (nee Dimich), 89, of West Bend, Wis., passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021.

She was born on May 30, 1932, to the late Paul and Manda (nee Vojuovich) Dimich.

Anne was the former owner and operator of Saukville Meats. She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Saukville and enjoyed golfing.

With a heavy heart, we share that mom left us. She is now with her husband and with grandma and grandpa, uncle George, uncle Mike and all who passed from the special little place in Lawrence Lake, Minn.

Four families came from Yugoslavia and created a village of warmth, love, music, dancing, friendship food, and more food and laughter. They didn’t have much, but they had each other and they created a bond that no one could break apart. They welcomed everyone. They were a generation of simplicity, of living your life by what matters and at the top of that list was family.

We may not remember all the individual stories, but together we complete the book. Some grew up with fancy clothes, cars, toys, houses, etc.; but not many hit the pot of gold as we all did by being part of this family. How blessed we all are and forever grateful.

Those Anne leaves behind to cherish her memory include her three children, James (Barbara) Connor, Lynn (Wyndee) Connor and Kimberly (Nicholas) Sardo; four grandchildren, Shane (Jaime) Connor, Nicole (Willy) Lannyk, Anthony (Caitlin) Sardo and Alexandra Sardo; six great-grandchildren, James and Malayna Lannyk, Alyssa, Alexandra and Dylan Connor and Anna Sardo; two sisters, Dorothy Hipkins and Helen Hecimovich; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Norman Luedke, former husband Robert Connor and her two brothers, George Dimich and Milan Dimich.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at 6 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend.
