KUDOS: Lions Clubs worked together to screen children’s vision

I would like to thank members of the Cedarburg and Grafton Lions Clubs for assisting the Port Washington Lions with three vision screening events at Saukville-Port Washington elementary schools this year.
Over 850 children, ages four to 11, received vision screening this school year. Of those, more than 10% were referred to eye care professionals for further diagnosis.
Since vision is responsible for 70% of learning at an early age, these annual vision screenings are very important.
