Stamp Out Hunger food drive to be held May 11

    The annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive will be held on Saturday, May 11.
    But unlike previous years, when postal carriers dropped off bags for people to use in making donations, this year homeowners will have to supply their own.
    Postal carriers will distribute postcards notifying residents when to place their donations of nonperishable food items next to their mailbox for the drive, which is sponsored by the National Association of Letter Carriers.
    Items collected will go to the Port Washington Food Pantry.
