PAID OBITUARY: Cecelia Kroll

Cecilia K. Kroll (nee Reinders)  of the Town of Saukville died on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018.

She was born on Nov. 15, 1923, in the Town of Barton to Alfred and Olive (Bohn) Reinders.

Cecilia was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Bend.

She married Monroe Beger on June 19, 1943, at St. Martin’s United Church of Christ in Fillmore. He preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 1966.

On April 19, 1969, she married Edward Kroll at Trinity Lutheran Church West Mequon. He preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 2013.

Cecilia was a former member of the Kettle Moraine Quilters and made quilts for all of her grandchildren when they graduated from high school. She also made quilts for her children when they were married 25 years. She enjoyed visiting with her children and their families.

Cecilia’s other interests were reading, golf, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, dancing the polka and playing sheepshead.

Cecilia is survived by her nine children, Suzanne (Gary) Laubenstein of Saukville, Sandra (Peter) Jungers of Plymouth, Janice (Art) Laubenstein of Saukville, Bonnie (James) Steffen of  Random Lake, Monroe (Laurie) Beger of Cascade, Larry (Marsha) Beger of Fredonia, Christine Beger of Waukesha, Jo (Barry) Barefoot of Green Valley, Ariz., and Debbie (Shakeel) Ali of West Bend; 30 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her brothers Paul (Shirley) Reinders, Joseph (Marlene) Reinders and Alfred Jr. (Shari) Reinders; sisters Theresa (Matt) Stoffel, Rita Bruckert, MaryAnn Meyer, Alice (Peter) Schulties, Judy (Bernard) Beck and Rose (Ray) Zingsheim; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandchild Connie Jungers, great-grandchildren Tyler Laubenstein and Dakota Harder, one brother, four brothers-in-laws, one sister and four sister-in-laws.

She was a faithful member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Newburg and enjoyed the visits from Pastor Schaser and the Visitation Team.

A funeral service was held Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Newburg.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John’s Renovation, St. John’s Lutheran Church or Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School.

Cecilia’s family would like to thank Cedar Community At Home Hospice for their wonderful care of our mother.
