November 04, 2026

Rocket Academy, Cedar Grove-Belgium School District’s charter school for skilled trades that offers technical college credits to juniors and seniors, recently received an award from the Northeast Wisconsin Manufacturing Alliance.

The academy received the Education Innovation Award at the organization’s 15th annual Excellence in Manufacturing/K-12 Partnership Awards last month.

The NEW Manufacturing Alliance (NEWMA) is a group of manufacturers, educators, workforce development, chambers of commerce and state organizations that promote manufacturing in the Northeast Wisconsin region. The vision of the Alliance is that every Northeast Wisconsin manufacturer will find the talent it needs.
