LETTER: Tiffany disgraces country as MAGA Trump rubber stamp

To Ozaukee Press:

I am an Independent who has voted for both Republicans and Democrats. I’m 74 years old, and I’m voting Democrat across the board. I’m a Christian, former sergeant with the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Department, former licensed minister with the UCC, and former executive director at Ozaukee Food Alliance. I’ve seen a lot, but I have never seen such a disgrace to our country as Donald Trump and his spineless MAGA rubber-stamps in office.

I’m voting for David Crowley for governor. It’s hard to know how excellent Crowley has been as Milwaukee County executive when Tom Tiffany’s campaign has $42 million to flood the media with fear-mongering. Three billionaire donors have given $50 million to Republican Wisconsin candidates. David Crowley raised $12 million, $9 million coming from individuals. 

I remain appalled by Tiffany’s attempt to stop Biden’s certification as president through a lawsuit to overturn Wisconsin’s election result. In addition, in loyalty to Trump, Tiffany voted to reject two states’ voting results after the violent Capitol attack against law enforcement. Where was support for law enforcement when Trump pardoned those who stormed the Capitol and assaulted officers? 

I suggest shutting this whole MAGA disgrace down by voting straight Democrat for every office on the ballot and marking no on all three amendments cooked up by Republicans to change our Constitution.
