September 23, 2026

Rocket Academy, the charter school part of the Cedar Grove-Belgium School District, will hold an open house at its Belgium facility from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29.

The academy is open to juniors and seniors in Wisconsin school districts,

The school teaches precision machining, welding and metal fabrication, industrial maintenance and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) installation.

Rocket Academy students are required to be enrolled in a youth apprenticeship, and most classes are dual-credit with Lakeshore College. Many graduates leave with technical certificates and are ready for the workforce or continuing education at area technical schools.

Students’ schedules include tours of area workplaces, time at their youth apprenticeships and learning at the academy.

Rocket Academy is at 255 Lakeview Dr., Belgium.
