Fire department to host 9/11 anniversary parade on Friday
The Ozaukee Central Fire Department will host a parade to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11.
The parade will begin at the Saukville Fire Station, 520 W. Dekora St., and travel to Grady Park, where there will be a ceremony.
Cookies and beverages will be served at the park.
The parade is dedicated to remembering the nearly 3,000 people killed when al-Qaida hijackers crashed planes in New York City and rural Pennsylvania and at the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001.
