Sept. 26 run, walk to help Mel’s Charities

The annual Mel’s Charities 5K Fun Run/Walk will be held Saturday, Sept. 26,  in Cedarburg.

Funds raised through the run and walk  directly support individuals and families throughout Ozaukee County.

The event kicks off at the All Childrens Playground, W67N843 Evergreen Blvd., with registration at 8 a.m. 

The run and walk begins at 9 a.m. 

Packets may also be picked up at Happy Place Cooking Space, W57 N14280 Doerr Way, Suite 104, Cedarburg, from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24.

The entry fees is $25 in advance or $30  on race day.

Those registering may support Happy Place Cooking Space or the Mequon Rotary All-User Playground by joining their teams when registering. The full entry fee will then go directly to the team selected.

A post run/walk pancake breakfast will be prepared by From Scratch Catering.
