Registrations for Ozaukee Autumn Open now accepted

The 19th Ozaukee Autumn Open: Scramblin’ for Funds golf outing will be held Monday, Sept. 14, at Hawthorne Golf Course in the Town of Saukville.

The outing is hosted by United Way of Northern Ozaukee to support the Community Service Navigator Program.

Four-person teams will hit the links to support the program, which has helped hundreds access guidance, connection and support during times of significant need.

“This collaborative, interagency approach will help the team focus on reaching those at greatest risk and effectively providing holistic care to families to ensure that no resident has to navigate crisis, hardship or uncertainty alone,” United Way Executive Director Barbara Bates-Nelson said.

Golfers are encouraged to register foursomes online at unitedwayno.org/golf.

The outing costs $150 per player, which includes 18 holes of golf with cart, a boxed lunch, drinks, dinner, dessert, prizes and a gift certificate for 18 holes of golf at Hawthorne Hills Golf Course.

Players should arrive at 9 a.m. Sept. 14th to sign in.

The shotgun start is at 10:30 a.m.

Lunch, drinks, a team awards ceremony, dinner and a raffle will follow.

This year’s outing will also include an online auction for items that include several one-of-a-kind experiences, including a one-week stay at Pueblo Bonita Sunset Beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, a flyover of Ozaukee County in a private plane, Green Bay Packers memorabilia and tickets to the Packer vs. Viking game.
