Confirmation to be celebrated May 23, 24

St. Paul Lutheran Church and School in Grafton will host a 175th anniversary confirmation celebration Saturday and Sunday, May 23 and 24.

The weekend is intended to highlight the role of confirmation in the life of the congregation and give thanks for the generations who have attended the church.

The Rev. Peter Burfeind and the Rev. Dr. Kurt Ziemann will lead the worship services at 5 p.m. Saturday and 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday.

Congregation members and guests may explore confirmation displays and  peruse archival books dating back to the 1800s.

The Family Life Center will be open from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, with those attending asked to enter through the carport.
