Memorial Day service is Monday
Memorial Day ceremonies in Belgium will again include a church service, parade and ceremony.
The Melvin Wester Belgium Memorial Post 412 will hold a memorial service at 8:30 a.m. Monday, May 26, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 200 Park St., Belgium.
The parade will start from East Lane and Main Street at 10:30 a.m., led by the Post 412 Color Guard, and end at Community Park.
A ceremony will be held in the park with Ozaukee County Veterans Service Officer Kevin Johnson as guest speaker.
The park’s food stand will be open for business after the ceremony.
