Gardening talk to be held on June 27

“Comfort, Ease, and Simplicity” in gardening will be the topic for a 7 p.m. Thursday, June 27, presentation sponsored by the Ozaukee Master Gardeners.

The online presentation will be given by Jan Bills, author of “Late Bloomer.”

Bills will discuss sustainable gardening for all ages, including a variety of practices that respond to environmental concerns. Her talk will focus on every stage of gardening, from design and planting to maintenance.

By successfully rethinking their approach to gardening and shifting their perspective, Bills said, people can garden with comfort, ease and simplicity.

“Gardening should be our love, not our labor of love,” she said.

Bills is an author, national speaker, certified landscape designer, advanced master gardener and entrepreneur. After a successful career in the corporate world, she made a major life reassessment and followed her heart, trading in her heels for Wellies and started the Detroit-area landscape design company Two Women and a Hoe.
