June 10 car show set at Pioneer Village

The third annual Ozaukee County Historical Society Car Show will be held at Pioneer Village in the Town of Saukville from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 10.

  In addition to the free car show, there will also be a bluegrass jam in the afternoon, tours of the 24 historic buildings, a brat fry and craft beers for purchase.

Eugene Durban, the resident blacksmith, will hold a class from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The cost is $50 and advance registration is required. Registration forms can be found at www.ochs.co.ozaukee.wi.us/eventsfor2023.

A free shuttle will run from Pioneer Village to Stony Hill School for a celebration of Flag Day that afternoon. A re-enactor portraying Bernard Cigrand, founder of Flag Day, and a patriotic program will be presented at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. Children will receive flags and mementos.

Classic cars, trucks and motorcycles are welcome at the car show and may be registered ahead of time or on the day of the show.

Registration on June 10 will run from 7 a.m. to noon. Exhibitors, who receive a dash plaque and are entered into contests, are asked to make a $10 donation to the Historical Society.
