Wisconsin Singers to perform at OHS

Wisconsin Singers, the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s premier Broadway-caliber touring production, will perform its 55th season show “Something’s Coming!” at Ozaukee High School in Fredonia on Friday, April 14.

The 90-minute show will begin at 7 p.m.

“Something’s Coming!” will feature music from decades of American pop, jazz, rock, and Broadway hits.

The show will include more than 40 songs, including hits by artists such as Prince and Katy Perry and movies like “Footloose” and Disney’s “Encanto,” as well as Broadway showstoppers from musicals such as “West Side Story” and “Moulin Rouge.”

It will also include Fifth Quarter classics such as “On Wisconsin,” “Varsity” and “Jump Around.”

“We have heard such great things about past performances of Wisconsin Singers, and the high school choir and band students are excited to workshop with the college performers,” Ozaukee choir teacher Samantha Carlson said.

The show will open with performances by the Ozaukee Jazz Band and choir group Fermata Nowhere.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and senior citizens and may be purchased by calling (608) 886-6801 or visiting www.wisconsinsingers.com/ozaukee.
