Melapalooza is a hit

The annual Melapalooza included softball games, music, food and fun last Friday and Saturday in Grafton’s Centennial Park. Above, Team Grafton’s Rod Wilterdink pitched in the senior all-star game against Team Ozaukee. Above right, Joel Cielak waited to take off as shortstop Stu Hannams joined him in watching the ball. Right, Mark Reinhardt fired a pitch. Team Grafton won, 12-3, and the Grafton first responders beat Cedarburg first responders, 6-4. A one-pitch wood bat tournament was held on Saturday, and several bands performed. Proceeds went to Mel’s Charities, which donates all profits back to the community.
