Fish Day run is Saturday

The 35th Fish Day Run/Walk/Roll is Saturday, July 16.

New routes are set for the 8-kilometer run and two-mile run/walk after the event took a hiatus due to the pandemic.

The race will start and finish in Coal Dock Park and travel through the marina district. The  8K run will go through Upper Lake Park and return on the Ozaukee Interurban Trail.

Both the 8K and two-mile routes support strollers and wheelchairs.

First-place awards for male and female racers will be presented in the following age categories — younger than age 9, 10 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69 and older than 70 years.

An award will also be presented to the first-place team.

Registration is $35 in advance and $40 on race day.

People who refer five others who sign up for the event will have their registration fee refunded.

The race is hosted by Portal, Inc. in Grafton, a nonprofit organization providing services to adults and students transitioning from high school with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
