YOUR PIX: Gun salute to veterans gets a mixed reaction

The gun salute at the ceremony honoring veterans at the Grafton American Legion post Monday was fitting, patriotic and really loud, which was evident from the reactions of both Ben and Claire Uhan.  While 9-year-old Ben executed a snappy military salute, Claire, 3, did what kids instinctively do when surprised by a really loud noise. They are the children of Jared and Stacy Uhan of Port Washington. The photo was taken by their grandmother Kathy Gilstrap. Grandfather Gary Gilstrap is a member of the Grafton Legion post.
