Youngsters to make DIY holiday gifts

Riveredge Nature Center in the Town of Saukville is hosting two Handmade for the Holidays sessions in November.

A session for teens will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, while a workshop for children ages 2 to 12 will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16.

Those attending will use natural materials to make do-it-yourself holiday gifts.  They will try their hand at woodworking, watercolor, wood-burning or ornament making.

All supplies and instruction are provided.

The cost is $15 per child for the children of Riveredge members and $20 for the children of nonmembers. Supervising adults are admitted at no charge.
