Women Who Care make quarterly donation

The Ozaukee County chapter of 100+ Women Who Care donated $9,287 to Camp Hometown Heroes, a charitable endeavor dedicated to impacting the lives of families of fallen U.S. military service members.
The chapter selected the charity at its quarterly meeting based on a nomination by chapter member and Kapco employee Sara Grover.
Camp Hometown Heroes is a national week-long overnight summer camp for children and siblings of fallen U.S. service members.
During their visit to camp, children have the opportunity to openly discuss their feelings and experiences and bond with others who have faced the same loss. With the support of pediatric grief specialists, the children take part in art and music therapy programs and discussion groups, and form life-long friendships.
