Winker to meet with Lakeside Foods

Town Chairman Tom Winker said he plans to meet with the general manager of Lakeside Foods about truck drivers spilling loads onto town roads.
At the Dec. 6 Town Board meeting, Winker he hadn’t had a chance to meet with him yet. He plans to meet soon.
There have been three spill events this year, which is fewer than in the past, but “I would like to see zero spill events,” Winker said.
The town called in a sweeper to clean up the latest potato spill. It cost $275.
“Lakeside is aware they’re going to pay the bill,” Winker said.
