William Kirsch

William Kirsch, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026, in Boca Raton, Fla.
Bill was born on April 30, 1936, in Port Washington, Wis., to Nicholas and Eleanor Kirsch (nee Steig) and was a 1954 graduate
of Port Washington High School.
He honorably served two years in the U.S. Army.
Upon his return, he attended Marquette University and began a dedicated career in manufacturing management, including at Simplicity Manufacturing Co. in Port Washington, Wis.
In 1962, Bill married Judy Muehlberg, beginning a 63-year marriage. They shared their lives between Port Washington, Egg Harbor, Wis., and Boca Raton, Fla., making many friends in all communities.
He valued every opportunity to engage in recreational boating and golfing with his family and friends. He enjoyed traveling the United States and abroad, especially Aruba, and taking various cruises.
Wherever he was, he remained a dedicated fan of Wisconsin sports teams, whether it was the Packers, Badgers, Golden Eagles, Brewers or Bucks.
Bill is survived by his wife Judy, his daughter Kelly (Michael) Evenson, his grandsons Allen and Blake William (Taylor) Evenson and his great-grandsons Maddox and Zander Evenson. He’s further survived by nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Alvin, Richard, Robert and James Kirsch and his sister Betty Jane (Kirsch) Haseley, as well as his in-laws Harold and Julia Muehlberg and his brother-in-law Richard Muehlberg.
A family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
