An enthusiastic crowd of spirited residents gathered at Veterans Park to mark the start of the holiday season in Saukville on Sunday, Dec. 2. The occasion was the village’s annual Christmas tree-lighting ceremony, complete with caroling, hot chocolate and a visit from Santa Claus, who arrived on a fire truck. Photos by Sam Arendt
