Voter registrations, blood drive set at Port library

The Niederkorn Library in Port Washington will be home to several community efforts in the coming weeks.
The library at 316 W. Grand Ave. will serve as a voter registration station from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, Sept. 21 to 25.
Self-service voter stations will be set up to help residents register online, check their voter registration status, request an absentee ballot or update their address.
The station will be equipped with resources and online links compiled by the League of Women Voters of Ozaukee County.
A Versiti blood drive will be held in the library’s community room from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28.
To schedule an appointment, visit bit.ly/portwashingtonsep28 or call (877) 232-4376.
The COVID-19 antibody test will be done on all blood donations as part of the standard testing.
Port Washington Community Grief Support Group  will meet virtually from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1.
The group, which is free and open to anyone experiencing grief, is facilitated by Colson Leach, bereavement coordinator with Ascension Hospice.
To register, email Katie at krichmond@monarchlibraries.org.
The group will meet regularly on the first Thursday of the month.
