Volunteers needed to fill Port planters

Volunteers are being sought to help replant the planters that line Franklin Street in downtown Port Washington on Sunday, Sept. 20.

Port Main Street Inc. is sponsoring the event, which will remove the summer plantings and replace them with autumn ones.

Some planters will be designed by local businesses, which will then be part of a community-wide vote to determine the favorites.
