Village seeking a plan commissioner

The Village of Belgium is seeking to fill a hole on its Plan Commission.

Commissioner Joan Gottsacker is moving out of the village and is leaving the group.

The village is seeking applications. There is no deadline to fill the seat, but the Village Board could appoint someone at its Feb. 10 meeting, Village Clerk Theresa Bartley said.

So far Hassan Khan, the son of the owner of the Belgium Inn and Suites, has applied.
