Village president quits to seek treasurer job

Belgium Village President Vickie Boehnlein resigned on May 2 in order to apply for the village treasurer’s post.

If she is not selected for the position, Boehnlein said she hopes the board would welcome her back via appointment.

The Finance and Personnel Committee last week narrowed the pool of treasurer applicants from 10 to three. It was to interview those three on Tuesday night.
