Veronica ‘Vickie’ Cudahy

Veronica Kathleen “Vickie” Cudahy lost her courageous battle for life on Wednesday, April 22, 2020.
She was born on Nov. 1, 1943, to James W. and Veronica “Frony” (nee Bintzler) Cudahy.
Vickie was a resident of Grafton for 76 years, living in the same home with her beloved sister Anna L. Cudahy.
Vickie had a deep love of family. She was so good to her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, never forgetting birthdays, holidays or family events for all family and friends. Vickie was ever so generous to everyone. It was easy to make Vicki laugh and even easier to make her cry. She loved sappy movies, going shopping, McDonald’s coffee and daily “Sunday” drives.
She enjoyed watching and feeding the wildlife outside her front window so much so that her brother Jim made her a sign that read “Wildlife Refuge.”
She was a force to be reckoned with and will be forever missed and loved by those who knew her.
Vicki was employed at Kelch Corp. in Mequon for 21 years, Shopko Pharmacy for three years and Exacto Spring for 10 years.
Vickie is survived by her siblings James D. Cudahy of Shell, Wyo., Thomas (Sandra) Cudahy of Monico, Wis., Jane (Jim) Scherer of West Bend, Anna L. Cudahy of Grafton and William J. Cudahy of Grafton. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was prededed in death by her parents, sister-in-law Ginny Cudahy and nephew Joel Cudahy.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the ICU nurses at Froedtert Milwaukee, Select Specialty Hospital-St. Francis nursing staff and Melanie Plante of Cedar Mills.
A private family service will be planned for a future date.
