Verna Schallock

Verna L. Schallock was born to eternal life on Nov. 13, 2021, at the age of 93.  

Verna was born on April 9, 1928, the daughter of the late Herman and Frieda (nee Janke) Himstedt.  

Verna was united in marriage to Wallace Schallock on Sept. 2, 1950.

Verna is survived by her son Gary and his wife Barbara; her grandchildren Gary Jr. (Katie) and Carmen; and her great-grandchildren Charlie and Aubrey.  

She is further survived by her brother-in-law Merlin Gerner, niece Darlene July, other relatives and friends.  

Verna was preceded in death by her beloved husband Wally; brother Howard (Mary) Himstedt; sisters Grace (Wally) Scholz, Sylvia Gerner and Ardell (Lee) Townsend; and sister-in-law Joyce (Chester) Jeziorski. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 19, 2021, at 5:30 p.m. at First Immanuel Lutheran Church, W67 N622 Evergreen Blvd., Cedarburg.  

Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 3:30 to 5:15 p.m.  

Interment will be at St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Fredonia, Wis.
