Utility work continues on River Bend Road

Crews continue to work on extending sanitary sewer and water utilities along River Bend Road east of Yuma Street in Grafton to serve residents of the future River Bend Meadows subdivision along Port Washington Road. Construction started in late August and is expected to be completed by Nov. 27. The east-to-west portion of River Bend Road is closed to through traffic during the project, but homeowners will continue to have access to their properties, Public Works Director Amber Thomas said.
