Tonetta “Toni” Lunde

Tonetta “Toni” Lunde of Port Washington, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, June 20, 2025, at Harbor Campus, where she had been a resident. She was 88 years old.
Toni was born on Sept. 20, 1936, in Bryant, S.D., and was raised in a loving home by her parents Charles and Mabel (nee Jefferson) Buckland.
She married LaVerne “Lyman” Lunde on April 18, 1955, beginning a beautiful journey together filled with love, laughter and shared memories.
Residing in Port Washington, Wis., Toni made her mark in the community as a dedicated server at Smith Bros. Restaurant, where her warm smile and genuine care for others created a welcoming environment for all.
She was a devoted member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, where she found strength and fellowship within her church community.
In her leisure, Toni had a passion for playing bingo and cards, bird watching and collecting antiques —hobbies that not only brought her joy but also brought together her family and friends for countless cherished memories.
Toni is survived by her three children, Vicki (Paul) Czisny, Karla (Dan Paulin) Lunde and Tawnya (Paul) Lewis. She is further survived by her daughter-in-law Bonnie Lunde, nine grandchildren, Erica (Josh), Sara (Andy), Brian, Amanda (Dakota), Joseph, Erin (Justin), Dustin, Miranda (Hunter) and Jesse (Mallory); nine great-grandchildren; her sister Betty Brodahl; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lyman, her son Donald and 13 siblings.
In accordance with Toni’s wishes, private family services will be held.
She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Sheboygan.
