Thomas Michaels

Thomas A. Michaels, age 34 years, died unexpectedly at his Port Washington, Wis., residence Friday, July 16, 2021.

He was born May 30, 1987, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Roger and Carolann (nee Waranka) Michaels.

Tom grew  up in Port Washington and graduated from Port Washington High School.  He worked as an independent contractor for The Racine Journal Times.

Tom was talented with a guitar.  He could hear a song and master playing it in short order.  

He enjoyed fishing and liked to fish at Lime Kiln Park in Grafton, Wis.  He also enjoyed spending time outdoors at Harrington Beach State Park in Belgium, Wis.

He might be gone, but he will not be forgotten.

Tom is survived by his parents Carolann and Roger and his brother Nicholas Michaels.  

He is further survived by his aunt Grace (Thomas) Hernandez, uncle Joe (Lisa) Waranka, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Joseph and Josephine (nee Cicerello) Waranka, uncle Nicholas “Nicky Boy” Waranka and paternal grandparents William (Elma) Michaels.

Family services have been held.
