Thomas Keagy

Thomas “Tom” Claude Keagy of Grafton was called to his heavenly home on Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021, at the age of 88.
He was born in Akron, Ohio, the son of Claude and Edna Keagy, on Dec. 7, 1932.
Tom married the true love of his life, Lucille “Lu” Joy, in Indiana on Aug. 30, 1957.
Tom proudly served his county (1952 to 1956) in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He participated in the 2017 Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., with his daughter Laura.
Tom was a long-time member of First Congregational Church in Port Washington. He was a founding member of St. Simon the Fisherman Episcopal Church in Port Washington.
He was active in Port Washington and Grafton schools through AFS (American Field Service), Interfaith Senior Caregivers, Ozaukee County (social services) and the Metro Milwaukee Military Historians Club.
Tom enjoyed gardening, fishing and especially raising orchids.
Tom loved spending time with his family. His quick wit and sense of humor will be missed by all who love him.
Tom’s memory will be forever cherished by his surviving wife Lu; his children Timothy (Christine) Keagy of Newbury Park, Calif., and Laura (Jerry) Henning of
Grafton, Wis.; grandchildren Shelby (Nick) Loth, Alex (Erica Raffaele) Gerth, Toby Keagy, Andrew Henning and Kylie Keagy; great-grandchildren Kenneth, Ethan, Liam and Faith; and sister Susie Keagy of Akron, Ohio. He is fondly remembered by Aaron, Sherry, Lola, Max, Ryan, Nicole and Sarah. Tom is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Edna, his infant daughter Joy Ann, and great-grandchild Nolan.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, 2021, at First Congregational Church, 131 N. Webster St., Port Washington, WI 53027, with Pastor Scott McLeod presiding.
The family will receive visitors at the church from 3 p.m. until the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight or Clement J Zablocki Medical Center.
