Thomas E. Hogan

Thomas E. Hogan of Saukville passed away unexpectedly on May 19, 2020, at the age of 61.
He was born in Lawrence, Kan., to Thomas J. and Arlene (nee Schaller) Hogan on Jan. 24, 1959.
After graduating from Ozaukee High School in Fredonia in 1977, Tom spent several years managing the Clark Gas Station in Port Washington. Since 1993, he had worked for Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly in Saukville as a produce manager.
Tom had a great artistic talent, loved NASCAR, and had a lifelong passion for anything to do with trains. He also had an interest in history and enjoyed volunteering with the Ozaukee County Historical Society. Spending time with his grandchildren brought him great happiness in the last few years.
Tom is survived by his sons Christopher Hogan of Oshkosh, Patrick Hogan of Virginia and Timothy (Sarah) Hogan of Neenah; daughter Ashley Bender of Machesney Park, Ill.; stepson Gene (Anna) Johnson of Port Washington; grandchildren Amelie, Emily and Matthew; brother Michael of Hartford; sisters Karen (Steve) Girard of West Bend and Mary Kay (Paul) Minnis of Green Bay; and many nieces; nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Arlene Hogan, and his stepmother Janet Hogan.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
