They ride on

Area bicycling races and events have been canceled this year, including the Tour of America’s Dairyland that features Giro d’ Grafton, but cyclists are still getting their fix on weekly rides. Riders are invited to meet at NSeven Coffee Co. in Grafton at 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays for a coffee before a 6 p.m. ride. Three routes are offered to fit riders’ skill levels. Group A will travel at 20 to 21 mph, Group B at 18 to 19 mph and Group C at 16 to 17 mph. The rides, said Russ Kempka (above photo, in center wearing black), are not intended to be races but offer a chance for people to work on their goals depending on their fitness and experience levels. The routes end at NSeven, and the group then heads to the 024 taproom for a beer. Routes are available at ridewithgps.com and searching for NSeven. Rides, depending on the weather, will continue through mid-October, Kempka said.
