Theresa Wellert

Theresa Ann Loritz Wellert died Sunday, April 22, 2018, in Glendale, Ariz.
She was born in August 1926 in Sheboygan to Charles and Clara Loritz, who preceded her in death, as did her siblings Carlos, Helen and Cecile.
In 1947, she married Harry Wellert at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Sheboygan.
They had two sons, Michael (Judy), who lives in Missoula, Mont., and Patrick (Karen), who died in 2017 in Peoria, Ariz. Harry and Theresa had four grandchildren, Charles and Matthew Wellert in Missoula, Mont., and Patrick (Leeanne) Wellert and Stephanie (Raghav) Mohindra in Peoria, Ill.
Theresa and Harry raised their boys in Port Washington while Harry worked at Wisconsin Electric Power Co. and Theresa held a few different jobs over the years, including working for the Port Washington-Saukville School District financial office. They were members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Port Washington.
They retired to Florida, where Theresa enjoyed swimming and shelling. She was a loving caregiver to Harry for 12 years in Florida following his stroke in 1990. She moved to Arizona following Harry’s death in 2002.
Theresa was a modest, loving woman who liked to host gatherings of family and friends. She suffered with dementia in her later years but always maintained a cheerful attitude.
