Tasty bargains at the farmers market

Local farmers markets are drawing steady crowds this summer, and Grafton’s version is no exception. Vendors are offering produce, honey, spices, hand-crafted merchandise and other items from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays through September at Veterans Memorial Park on 13th Avenue. From the top, Joanne Kuhn sold nuts, granola and snacks during a recent market; Maria Brady bought freshly picked vegetables with her children Emerson, 9, and Roman, 5; and Vicki Sommers offered a variety of produce at her stand.
