T-shirts sought for Advocates project

The Clothesline Project to bring awareness of domestic violence to Ozaukee County will be held from 5 to 7 p.m.  Thursday, Oct. 13.

In preparation for the event, Advocates of Ozaukee is seeking donations of T-shirts decorated with quotes, statistics, stories, photos and other items.

Plain T-shirts of any color are also sought for the display, which will feature items made by survivors of domestic violence.

Hanging the T-shirts on a clothesline is a visual display of the violence statistics that often go ignored.

The Clothesline Project will be held at Cedar Creek Park in Cedarburg.

Anyone who would like to donate a T-shirt is asked to contact Advocates at (262) 284-3577.
