Summer Nights LIVE returns

Belgium’s first Summer Nights LIVE will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Community Park.

The String Along Band will perform, kickball games will be held at 6:30 and 8 p.m. and vendors will offer shopping.

Concession sales benefit Cedar Grove-Belgium Broncos Youth Football. Beer and wine sales will benefit the Belgium Area Chamber of Commerce.

Masks are encouraged. Sanitizer will be available. Picnic tables will be spread out to allow for social distancing due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

On Saturday, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. for Luna’s Taqueria, 117 S. Royal Ave.

A mariachi band will perform from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a DJ.  Jalepeno and taco-eating contests will be held.
