Stella Lauters

PAID OBITUARY
Stella V. Lauters, of Pickerel died Monday, Nov. 5, 2018, at her home under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 91 years old.
She was born on May 17, 1927, in Saukville, a daughter of the late Raymond and Adelaide "Hattie" (Thielen) Rausch.
She married Charles Lauters II on Oct. 4, 1945, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville. He preceded her in death on July 7, 2011.
Stella raised her family in Grafton and following retirement moved to Pickerel. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Pickerel.
She enjoyed making chocolate candies, fishing, bread making and making rosaries.
Survivors include five children, Charles (Yuhae) Lauters III of Appleton, Gary (Kathy) Lauters of Newburg, Mike (Shelly) Lauters of Pickerel, Deborah (Greg) Tannel of Rifle, Colo., and Scott (Holly)
Lauters of Saukville; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; a brother, Abbie Rausch of Saukville; and a brother-in-law, Richard Schreiner of Cedarburg.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at 12 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Pickerel, with the Rev. Dave Zimmerman officiating.
Burial will take place in St. Mary Cemetery, Pickerel.
Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 1, from 10:30 a.m. until the service at the church.
