A stash of dead ash

Friends of Harrington Beach State Park and a crew from the state Department of Natural Resources recently made a dent in the park’s supply of dead ash trees, removing them from the premises. While fall weather offers ideal hiking conditions, the park’s Harvest Hike on Sept. 19 that was canceled due to rain will not be rescheduled.       Photo by Sam Arendt
