Special recognition

The Belgium Fire Department on Saturdays in April will drive its fire trucks, with sirens and lights on, past homes of children celebrating birthdays, since parties of family and friends aren’t allowed due to the coronavirus. Last Saturday, Sparky held a happy birthday sign and waved to Aburee Fleischmann, 9 (bottom photo). Parents are asked to contact the department via Facebook to request a drive by.
