A special afternoon in honor of mothers

Mother’s Day called for a special celebration at Village Pointe Commons in Grafton, which hosted a high tea complete with traditional sweets and fine china cups on Thursday, May 10. Among the well-dressed guests were (photo above, from left) Ruth Deunk (left), Rachel Goldberg and her granddaughter Valerie Goldberg. Jean Hill (seated in top right photo) and Deborah Smith, life enrichment specialist at Village Pointe Commons, were a perfect match. Karen Morris (middle right photo) helped herself to a sweet. Ellie Ganson (left in photo at right) and Dorothy Keuper were served by Stephanie Knight, lifestyle enrichment coordinator. Seventy-five residents and guests attended the tea. Photos by Sam Arendt
