Singer/Songwriter Series concerts set

The Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series has announced its 2022-23 lineup, with concerts beginning Sept. 24.

All concerts are at Unitarian Church North, 13800 N. Port Washington Rd., Mequon. Doors open at 7 p.m. and music starts at 7:30 p.m.

  Single tickets to the concerts are generally $19 in advance and $23 at the door, with student tickets costing $12.

  A single-ticket season package is $199 and a two-ticket package is  $389.

Anyone purchasing tickets for three or more concerts can save $1 on each ticket.

The series opens with a Saturday, Sept. 24, concert by Bill Camplin followed by a Friday, Oct. 7 concert by Claudia Russell and Bruce Kaplan. On Saturday, Nov. 5, Claudia Schmidt will take the stage and on Saturday, Nov. 19, Ben Bedford will perform.

The Friday, Dec. 2, concert by Griffin House will cost $25 in advance and $29 at the door.

No concerts will be held in January.

The series continues with a Saturday, Feb. 25, concert by Joe Jencks with Kaia Fowler, and a Saturday, March 11, performance by Sons of the Never Wrong. Tickets for that concert will be $21 in advance and $25 at the door.

On Friday, March 24, Beth Nielsen-Chapman will play. Tickets will be $25 in advance and $29 at the door.

On Saturday, April 15, Jon Vezner and Don Henry will play. Tickets will be $21 in  advance and $25 at the door.

Davide Roth will perform on Saturday, April 29, and Katie Dahl will close the season on Saturday, May 13.

Ticket requests may be mailed with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to WSSS Tickets, 902 N. Webster St., Port Washington WI 53074. Buyers should include their name, address and phone number and make checks payable to WSSS.

Requests received by Sept. 9 will be returned by mail. Tickets received after Sept. 9 may be picked up at the Sept 24 concert.
