Showing they’re proud to knit in public

The Grafton Yarn Store joined in the celebration of World Wide Knit in Public Day on June 9 with a gathering of knitters who participated in classes during the past year. The group met at Veterans Memorial Park to share their love of the craft and promote the idea that knitting is a skill to be learned and enjoyed by everyone. Above (front row, from left), Lynette Rizos and Claudia Johnson and more than a dozen other knitters took part in the event. Photos by Sam Arendt
