Senior center offers classes, massages

The Grafton Senior Center has a host of offerings this spring.

Coloring basics 101 will be held from 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays, May 17, 24 and 31 at the Senior Center, 1665 Seventh. Ave.

Topics to be discussed include the color wheel, power of threes, blending colors, shading, embellishing, finished designs and how to protect finished work.

Chair massages by a board-certified, licensed massage therapist are offered by appointment on the first Tuesday of each month for $15 each.

Technology classes will be held at the center on Tuesdays, May 4 through 25, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for $20 per class. C.T. Krueger is the instructor. Topics and dates are:

May 4: Cutting the cord — Learn to control cable and internet costs.

May 11: The Camera in Your Smartphone — Learn apps, tips, tricks and limitations for pictures and video on iPhone and Android smartphones and tablets. Storage and printing are included.

May 18: Smartphone Video and Editing — Smartphone video shooting techniques and how to combine video clips, photos, narration and music into one video using the app VN Video Editor will be covered.

May 25: You have Pictures in Your Camera —Now What? —Techniques to save photos from cameras and smartphones to a computer, external devices and to the cloud using Windows 10 is covered. Organizing photos, viewing them from any device, printing and archiving them will also be taught.
