Scott A. Franzen

Scott A. Franzen, age 58, of Fredonia, Wis., peacefully passed away at his home due to complications of pancreatic cancer.
He was born on June 10, 1961, in Port Washington, Wis., the son of Donald and Anita Kringel Franzen.
Scott grew up in Grafton, graduating from Grafton High School with the Class of 1979.
He worked at Eddie’s Auto Service in Saukville after high school and then 13 years for Leeson Electric in Grafton.
On March 26, 1983, Scott married Jean Harns of Port Washington at St. Mary’s Church in Port Washington.
For the past 21 years, Scott was a tool and die maker for Snider Mold Company of Mequon.
Scott was handy and could fix anything with a motor. He enjoyed tinkering with cars and motorcycles when he had a motorcycle. He loved camping up north with family and friends as often as he could. Hunting, playing with the dog and an evening out shooting darts with friends brought Scott joy.
He is survived by his wife Jean; mother Anita Franzen of Grafton; sisters and brothers Shirley (Jeff) Greisch of Port Washington, Sharon Franzen of Grafton, Steve Franzen of Cedarburg, Stuart (Wendy) Franzen of Saukville and Susan Franzen of Grafton; sisters-in-law Sue (Jerry) Kroeger of Grafton, Mary (Rick) Gburzynski of Germantown and Ann (Dave) Rispalje of Cedarburg; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Scott was preceded in death by his children Allan, Michael, Jamie, Holly and Maria; his father Donald Franzen and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Rich and Margie Harns.
A memorial funeral service will be held at a later date.
