Scholarship applications for local students due April 30
The Saukville Chamber of Commerce is seeking scholarship applications from residents who will graduate high school this year.
The Chamber will award $1,500 to a student who demonstrated academic achievement throughout their high school career and volunteered in school and community service activities.
The applicant must write an essay of 1,000 words or less detailing life lessons they have learned through service, work and schooling.
The student must have a minimum grade-point average of 2.0.
The scholarship will not be based on financial need. Any post-secondary educational program of study qualifies a student to apply.
